Every summer, Atlanta Magazine publishes their list of “Top Docs,” a collection of healthcare providers recognized as outstanding by their peers through Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. Castle Connolly is a leading national healthcare organization established to help people get the best medical care possible. Medical practitioners can receive several types of awards, but the Castle Connolly “Top Doc” honor is a special distinction. Top Doc candidates are nominated by their peers and screened by a physician-led team of researchers, ultimately being chosen by a large group of highly qualified medical professionals. This is just one of many reasons we’re ecstatic to report that Dr. Philip Spandorfer of North Atlanta Pediatrics has been recognized by Castle Connolly and Atlanta Magazine for this distinct honor—for the second year in a row.
The screening process that Castle Connolly uses to select their Top Docs each year is based not only on evaluations of esteemed medical professionals, but also on the testimonials of patients. This makes the Top Doc honor an especially high one among practicing clinicians, and we couldn’t be prouder to claim Dr. Spandorfer as a foundational member of our team here at North Atlanta Pediatrics. It’s humbling to be chosen for such a recognition from one’s colleagues, but it’s truly a privilege to know that our patients and their parents are satisfied with the care they receive at our practice.

Dr. Spandorfer joined the team at North Atlanta Pediatrics in 2007, and for over a decade he’s gone above and beyond what’s expected of someone in his position (which is already quite a lot to begin with).
