Regularly scheduled well-child visits not only monitor the development of your child, but also help catch and prevent a variety of potential health concerns. However, we also know that there are times when unanticipated health issues arise that require more immediate attention and for that very reason, we offer same day sick appointments. This is why North Atlanta Pediatric Associates provides same-day immediate care appointments for infants, children, and teens suffering from serious symptoms of illness, such as:
- Abdominal Pain
- Allergy Attacks or Asthma
- Broken Bones and Sprains
- Cough or Croup
- Diarrhea
- Difficulty Breathing
- Earache
- Fever
- Insect Bites or Stings
- Serious Cuts or Abrasions
- Sore throat
- Sudden Rashes
- Vomiting
- Other Unexplained Health Concerns
If your child is experiencing any of these symptoms, we encourage you to contact our offices at (404) 256-3178 for same day sick appointments. We maintain a phone nurse on duty from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, who will be able to answer your medical questions and advise you on necessary steps you should take. Outside of those hours, calls will be forwarded to our answering service, but you can expect to receive a call back from one of our own nurses within an hour. For more serious emergencies we recommend contacting a hospital or 911.
